Shiv Kotagal is a Musician and Technologist from Atlanta, USA who has successfully run a Tabla Academy since 2014 which continues to train students, predominantly schoolers and consistently churn out confident and certified Tabla performers every year.

Shiv has performed solo as well as accompanied many renowned musicians in many genres of music and has several recordings to his credit.

Shiv hails from a family of educationalists and combined with his passion for Tabla and Technology has forged a Tabla coaching model pulling together invaluable training and repertoire from oral traditions of the six major Tabla Gharanas or schools with todays cutting edge technology to eliminate inefficiencies and help students achieve mastery on Tabla in minimal time.
